Perfect for John C. Campbell Folk School students/visitors and WNC outdoor enthusiasts. This is a simple, clean private bedroom with a tv plus a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. You’ll share a recently renovated bathroom just down the hall. You’ll have free outdoor, uncovered parking. You’ll have access to beautiful outdoor patios/porches, nearby trails and outdoor fire pit! My home is a short and scenic 3 miles from the John C Campbell Folk School and Brasstown. Clean, private bedroom. There is a Television (Direct TV) + DVD player. Mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker (+pods!) are all located in walk in closet Access to outdoor living spaces, fire pit, nearby walking/mountain-biking trails (just out the back door). Free outdoor, uncovered parking. Super quiet. Beautiful stars at night. For parties of 3-4 people, there is a second bedroom with a double bed. This bedroom is simpler and shares the bathroom with the primary bedroom. It is only available for Guests 3 & 4 in your party and both bedrooms cannot be utilized when only 2 guests are booked. This bedroom does not have a television or kitchenette in closet. Guests have access to their room, the hall bathroom, the living room with a cozy wood stove, and extensive outdoor living spaces including fire pit and shady porches. This is my home. I am retired from the Folk School where I worked for 20+ years. I am a quiet person and will give you your space. I expect guests will afford me the same. My home is a short and scenic 3 miles from the John C Campbell Folk School and Brasstown, 9 miles to Murphy, 16 miles to Hayesville, 16 miles to Young Harris, GA & 19 miles to Blairsville, GA. A private vehicle is required in this area. No Uber and very few (very expensive) taxis! Cats live on the premises but go indoors and out. They are both personable but skittish of new people :) There is no public transportation available and taxis are scarce/expensive. A personal vehicle is mandatory in this area. The upstairs in the house is entirely off limits to guests.
