The Bowdenian Shack is all about the homey feel, with a comfy layout and everything you may need to have the best stay. On a breezy day, enjoy the sounds of Adelaide and the cool air drifting in from the balcony and in the evening go out to explore the area or have an intimate home-cooked meal. The airy and bright living area leads to a spacious balcony with a BBQ grill; definitely the best place to sip on a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset! For more great views of Adelaide, go up to the building’s free shared rooftop and gaze away. Bedrooms: Two bedrooms with queen-size beds, Koala memory foam mattresses, hotel-quality linens, ceiling fans and air conditioning/heating, will give you a good night’s sleep. The master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with a large shower, quality towels and complimentary toiletries. The second bedroom has a large wardrobe, and the additional bathroom provides a shower and the same amenities as the master bath. Living Room/Kitchen/Balcony: An open plan living area hosts a 4-person dining table, sofa bed and 50" smart TV with Netflix, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen with a modern fridge, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, coffee pod machine, stovetop and oven, plus all utensils and equipment. Bathroom/s: There’s plenty of space and options for guests as the unit hosts 1 main shared bathroom plus an ensuite (attached to the master bedroom) Laundry: A washer/dryer is installed for your convenience and is free for guests to use throughout their stay Transport from Airport: - 15-20 mins (depending on traffic) by rideshare (around $30-$50 dollars) - Public transport from Adelaide Airport takes about (45 minutes) various options include, bus, train or a train from the Airport to Bowden. Parking: Enjoy the free underground remote-controlled parking, large enough to fit an SUV. Heating/Cooling: Throughout all the seasons, you’ll always feel comfortable at The Bowdenian Shack as the unit is fitted with a ducted system pumping hot or cold air into the main living area. The bedrooms host ceiling fans which can help circulate cool or hot air throughout the house. Simple instructions will be provided within the guest guide. Baby Essentials: We recommend any families travelling with babies or small children bring their own baby sheets. With enough notice we may be able to provide a port-a-cot and highchair otherwise guests will need to organise on their own. If we’re able to accommodate in any way please let us know.a Guests will have access to the entire property, apart from a cupboard near the kitchen which hosts some of the owners spare and personal belongings I like to let guests self-check-in and enjoy their stay in private, I am always contactable and responsive via Airbnb app or by phone. The apartment is conveniently located right by Plant4 Bowden, a chic industrial space which holds weekly markets and is full of eateries, shops and cafés. If you’re after some fun, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and The Gov are a walk away, with many events to keep you busy, and for another form of fun you can pop by the Adelaide Aquatic Centre and use the swimming pools and gym! With convenient public transport links you can easily get around Adelaide - the Bowden train station is 2 blocks away and it takes a mere 10 minutes to drive to the CBD.
