Spacious condo in complex with lots of amenities, including pool, tennis courts, hot tubs, gym, and 24-hour security. A well equipped kitchen, recently remodeled, is perfect for gourmands. Sunny, furnished 2BR/1.5 bath condo with beautiful kitchen and master bath, fireplace, hardwood floors, small balcony. Living room has queen-size fold-out couch. Fully equipped kitchen. Two tandem covered parking spots. 24-hour security guard. The second-floor unit is accessible via elevator or stairs. Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Wi-Fi. Large master bedroom with walk-in closet, full bath, and queen-sized bed. Second bedroom is set up as an office with a desk and plenty of books for reading. A second half-bath has a washer/dryer. Complex has numerous amenities, including tennis courts, pool, hot tubs, and gym with sauna, all of which are included in the price. Beach is 1 mile away and several restaurants are two blocks away, with more just a quick walk down the road. An 18-hole golf course is two miles down the road. A gate with 24-hour guard will let in visitors, who have access to on-site parking. Playa del Rey is one of LA's safest neighborhoods, an upscale residential community with tree-lined streets. It is less than 4 miles to LAX. The condo is located two blocks from Manchester Boulevard, which has major bus lines. Within half a mile are several restaurants, including Mexican, Indian, a deli, Lebanese, Italian, pizza, donuts, and Subway. Just over a mile away is an entire strip of other restaurants. A convenience store is three blocks away and stocks alcohol, groceries, and necessities. Full supermarket is just over one mile away, right across the street from the weekly farmers market and just next to a bowling alley. Located a mile from the bike path that extends from Malibu down to Redondo Beach. Ride your bike, walk, or rollerblade north to Fisherman's Village in Marina del Rey for waterfront dining (and the location of many scenes of "Arrested Development"). In the marina, you can rent standup paddleboards and kayaks. Just slightly further north is Venice and Santa Monica, home of the world-famous pier with rides and carnival games. Head south to El Segundo and its quaint main street and silent movie theater, the volleyball mecca of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach. Please note that all of my bookings are long-term rentals, so no discount is available for long-term stays. An additional fee of $150 will be charged for stays less than three months, as the HOA requires a move-in fee with each new tenant/lease. This fee is covered for stays of three months or more. The unit is a condo and, as such, is subject to the HOA's rules. Guest agrees to follow all rules. A copy of the rules is available upon request. According to the short-term residential law in Los Angeles, this listing is exempt from registration. Complex has tennis courts, pool, two hot tubs, gym with sauna, and paddle tennis court. I check in, usually via email, when guests first arrive and, for long stays, every few weeks or so, just to make sure everything is to your liking. The only other time I would contact the guest is if I'm alerted to a problem by security or a neighbor, or if the HOA requests access to the unit (such as to test fire alarms, etc.). I also request the guest's email so that I can forward periodic news from the HOA, such as on-site parties, water shutoffs, etc. A property manager takes care of the unit, as I am not currently in California. Playa del Rey is one of the safest neighborhoods in Los Angeles and is still considered the best-kept secret among the beach towns. But secrets don't keep long, and with new trendy businesses like gastropub The Tripel and Mexican lounge Cinco, the area is becoming increasingly popular. Bus lines run on Manchester Boulevard, three blocks away. The Culver City Metro station, which will take you downtown, to USC, and elsewhere, is less than 7 miles away. If you do not have many references on Airbnb, I may request references and/or a background check, at guest's expense. A copy of the ID for each adult guest is required at check-in.
