Ping pong downstairs, golf course within walking distance, and I'm learning chess this year, so impromptu games welcome! And of course piano. SHOES OFF AT DOOR PLEASE. Indoor flip flops available. Great space and easygoing south KC neighborhood. Please enjoy the backyard when possible. It's so nice! As a little house rule that helps keep the furniture nice, please, no wet towels on beds or wooden footboards. Rooms are small, so hang towels, etc. in closet or hooks provided. Much appreciated! Your bedroom is first or second door on the left, depending on availability. The double/full bed room has a TV, the Queen room does not. You will generally have the hall bath for yourself. Main TV is in the hearth room that we will share, and a full kitchen if needed; also shared. I have a lovely back deck and sunroom. I use a charley bar to lock the sliding glass door. Ask for details when you arrive. I am very flexible in this department, too. The spring and fall are very nice times of year to have coffee in the sunroom, a refreshment on the back deck with the torches burning at night, or taking in a short walk to the Blue Moose (soon to be Tanners!) or Barrio restaurant for dinner. If you play the piano, or have a musical instrument, impromptu recitals or concerts are encouraged. :-) Great area not toooo far in the 'burbs, and one mile off the highway. It has a revived Shopping Center just behind my house. So convenient! Ping pong table downstairs, golf course within walking distance, and learning chess this year, so impromptu games welcome! And of course, yoga and a beautiful backyard to enjoy. Having your own vehicle is probably the easiest way to get around in my neighborhood. But I’m right off the highway and you have access to an extensive array of the greater metro. The metro bus just added a stop (Oak St. & Red Bridge Rd, northbound) that is within walking distance of my house, and of course, Uber or Lyft is available. Generally a shoes off home. No check in after 7 pm. Deadbolt at front door has two settings. Don't turn too far left, or you'll lock others out. Perk: driveway parking instead of street. RIGHT SIDE ONLY (by front steps) Special perk: Occasionally, I offer garage parking in the winter in heavy snow or extreme conditions. Not meant for full-time use. If car is small, I can offer regular garage parking in winter for an additional fee.
