The Annexe is our newly-renovated self-catering accommodation situated in the heart of the Northumbrian village of Stannington. We are located just off the A1, with easy access to Newcastle, the Airport, Northumberland Coast and Country, and Scotland. Stannington has a pub and farm shop and is only 5 miles from the market town of Morpeth. The Annexe is spacious and versatile, suitable for wedding guests, business travellers, family staycations, or stopovers whilst travelling north or south. The Annexe is a private spacious self-catering accommodation located in a residential area and attached to our family home. The Annexe is attached to our family home but has its own separate front door. A key safe is provided for self-check in. Guests have private use of the whole apartment, including: spacious bedroom, living room with kitchen and dining areas and bathroom suite. Guests have the use of a garden area with patio table and chairs. Guests have the use of one parking space on our driveway (additional parking available in the village carpark 2 mins walk) We love to meet our guests, and are generally available for any questions or if you'd like some ideas for things to do in the local area, restaurant recommendations etc. We do however respect our guests' privacy and won't encroach on your stay! Stannington is a semi-rural village with a great community spirit. Visitors to our Annexe are encouraged to walk round the corner to the Ridley Arms pub to enjoy some local food and drink. Stannington village is accessible by car or by a local bus service (change at Morpeth for access to train station, Newcastle, Northumberland, Scotland) The Annexe is spacious and suitable for solo travellers, couples or families of up to 4 people. We welcome children and can provide travel cot, toys etc. Please note access to the Annexe is via one flight of stairs.
