Every year, Woodside is the host location of the “St. Pat’s for All Parade” welcoming members of the LGBTQ community to march every St. Patrick’s Day. At the few blocks where 61st Street, Roosevelt Avenue, and Woodside Avenue meet, there are at least half a dozen pubs and restaurants. The Alcove is one of the most famous gastropubs in the area.
