Just a 30 minute walk or 7 minute drive or ride a scooter into Taupo town center for all your shopping needs. A short drive to the famous DeBretts hot pools Spend your time in Taupo creating memories of a lifetime, We provide luxurious linen and towels which sets the standard for our guests to have a great stay in our home. One bedroom and the bathroom on the same level as the living area along with a double sofa bed in the separate area of the lounge This can be closed off with the bi-fold doors. Upstairs on the romantic mezzanine is a spacious room with a queen bed. There is a wood fire in the lounge for those cosy nights in. The kitchen is well equipped with tea, coffee, milk and condiments for your use. The lounge opens out to a sunny patio perfect to enjoy a wine or beer overlooking the lake. Free Wifi TV and a kayak for guest use, plus a full laundry with washing machine in the garage. Parking for 3 cars , bikes, jet ski or your lake toys of choice in the garage. Close to the 2 mile bay boat ramp. Entire house & garden to yourself. It is a shared driveway. We like to give our guests their privacy but Kerry is available by phone or text to answer any questions and we are only ever 10-15 minutes drive away if needed in an emergency. Great Neighbourhood, Close to the lake Other things to note Rotorua is only one hours drive and Hawkes Bay within 1.5 hours drive for a day of sightseeing and for the active traveller the Ski field and Tongariro crossing is an 1 hour drive. The Glowworm Caves are also 2 hours drive and Hobbiton 1.5 hours making Taupo the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from.
