It is ideally situated for visiting places of interest around Tuscany: Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Massa Marittima, Bolgheri and the famous “DOC wine area” (Sassicaia, Ornellaia), the Island of Elba, national parks like: Parchi della Val di Cornia, Parco della riserva naturale della Maremma , Oasi di bolgheri. The local area offers a whole range of opportunities for sports enthusiasts: from water sports (swimming, sailing, windsurf) to running (in the beautiful pinewoods of Cecina Mare, in the surrounding woods or on the quiet country roads) and cycling. The trip with the bus take 20 minutes and the bus bring you directly to Guardistallo. The bus stop is few meters from the entrance of Villa Elena. There are many activity parks for children, including the Cavallino Matto at Marina di Donoratico (16 km) the Parco Preistorico at Peccioli (40 km), the Parco di Pinocchio at Collodi (90 km), the Acqua Village at Cecina Mare (12 km), and the Parco Gallorose at Cecina (10 km), a wonderful collection of animals of various types open from dawn to dusk.
