Heart and Hearth Cottage

This lovely home sits atop a ridge 7 miles Northwest of downtown Asheville. We have a large garden in spring, summer, and fall. There is a gentle western view of the mountains. We are close to hiking, biking, and river fun. Sit around the fire in the evening at the rock fire pit, or relax in the gazebo to the sound of the water feature. The excitement of downtown Asheville is a 15 minute drive away. We are convenient to all of the amenities of Asheville in a quiet country-like setting Guests have access to the entire main floor of the house as well as the decks, gazebo, fire pit, and vegetable garden (seasonally). We have great handicap accessibility to most areas in and around the house. Steve and I live behind the main house through the woods. We are as available as you need for us to be! We will meet you upon your arrival to show you around and help out with things like fire building in the wood stove or fire pit or giving you some great recommendations for things to do or restaurants to try. The cottage itself is on the backside of a 2 acre lawn. We have a small neighborhood behind with the possibility of a short loop stroll. Our friendly dog Frankie may greet you upon arrival or on your walks. A car is a must. There is plenty of parking. Uber comes out this way as well. Downtown Asheville is a 10-15 minute drive away, and West Asheville is 13 minutes away. Mountains and river activities are very near.
