Come enjoy our custom handcrafted Pine lodge! The entryway opens to a spacious living room boasting a newly added indoor/outdoor fireplace. There’s ample seating at the log dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. There’s an en-suite bedroom on the main floor with a jacuzzi and two large en-suite bedrooms on the second floor, one also has a jacuzzi. Our 40 acres is a small sample of the majestic northern woods. We have a small pond with a fire pit to enjoy the night sky and roast marshmallows. For winter guests we’re <1 mile from a CJ Ramstad/North Shore State Trail entrance! We have lots of future plans for walking trails along an existing 1/2 mile access road to the back acreage so check back soon. *** For the health of all our guests, Superior Gateway Lodge requires proof of COVID 19 vaccination*** We'll email you prior to your stay and include the passcode to enter the main door to the lodge. Inside you will have a welcome pack and your keys to your rooms will be on the key rack behind the door. Owners, Beth and Jeff will be available should you need them as they reside in the basement level as well as the guest quarters above the 2 car full pine log garage. Should you need anything we will be there to help. We also have a 1 dog and 1 cat that will be in the basement level with us and will not be in the main areas for your stay. We are 8 miles West of Two Harbors on a dead end road and the temperature can differ as much as 10-15 degrees warmer off the lake. There can be fog in Tow Harbors and sun at the lodge as our elevation rises quickly even 250 ft from one end of our 40 acres to the other. Although you’ll need a vehicle to get here, once here you’ll want a mountain bike, hiking boots and snowshoes!
