Beautiful Modern 2 Bedroom 2 Bath House

Our place is a clean, modern 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house in a great location. It is close to the Pleasantville train station and even closer to the Pleasantville "old village". The entire house has been newly renovated and everything is convenient, modern and safe. A high performance mini-split heats and cools the house and a tankless hot water heater means you will never run out of hot water. For entertainment there are two brand new smart TVs. The house was built in the 1920s but has been fully renovated and is essentially "brand new". It is located in the heart of Pleasantville, just off of Bedford Road, and a short walk to restaurants in the "old village" such as Craft Pizza and Beer. The Metro North train station and Jacob Burns is approximately a 15 minute walk. The two smart TVs come with an assortment of enabled streaming channels including Netflix, Amazon, Starz and many more. The kitchen makes cooking easy. It includes clean, full size appliances and a good selection of cookware. We provide some basic breakfast items, such as cereal and milk, as well as coffee and tea pods for the Keurig coffee machine. The space is perfect for couples and families. The main bedroom includes a queen size bed and the second bedroom, downstairs, includes a sectional that converts to a full size bed. While children are welcome and the house is safe, we have not taken steps to "child proof" the space. For example, there is no gate that would keep a toddler away from the staircase. There is ample parking, right next to the house, for up to 3 vehicles. The entire house, including the back deck, is available to guests. We live close by in Pleasantville and can be reached throughout the day and evening if you have questions or requests. The house is in the heart of Pleasantville, just off Bedford Road. Pleasantville is a great village, very walkable, quaint and charming, and an easy commute to NYC on the Metro North Harlem line. There are some nice restaurants a very short walk (less than 5 minutes) from the house. The Metro North train station, more restaurants/pubs, and the Jacob Burns theater are approximately a 15 minute walk. A short drive takes you to Stone Barns and Blue Hill restaurant as well as Graham Hills Park. No long term rental. 30 days max (possibly 60 in exceptional circumstances). Number of guests must be accurate. No pets. No exceptions. Check in is anytime after 3:00 PM. Please provide ETA the day before or morning of your arrival. Even though we have self check in, your ETA is essential for planning cleaning and maintenance.
