Cosy romantic cabin & wood fire in countryside
Beautifully hand crafted medieval timber frame wood cabin in the glorious Welsh countryside within walking distance of a quaint village shop and a 20 min drive to Laugharne (home of the poet Dylan Thomas) and the stunning Pembrokeshire beach & coastline. This is an ideal place to relax in nature and escape stresses. The cabin is near our home & workshop for help or advice on local walks and activities, however, it has its own private entrance & beautiful garden with large veranda and gas BBQ. Totally self contained, it is beautifully crafted in traditional post & beam for a real romantic medieval atmosphere. It’s a perfect space to cosy up in front of the log fire and read a good book or for those who are into the outdoors there are beautiful walks in the mountains with the buzzard and red kite regularly visiting. The famous Pembrokeshire coast path and stunning beaches are near and for those who like to explore antique shops and local restaurants we are near the popular towns of Laugharne, Narberth and Tenby. The cabin also has a large veranda with gas BBQ and its own beautiful garden, perfect for relaxing on the porch in the rocking chair or sunbathing on a beanbag in the garden. At night the levels of light pollution here is low so on a clear night the stars are truly breathtaking. The cabin is nicely decorated with the necessary amenities, toilet, shower, microwave, hob, fridge, and all crockery and utensils. There is internet and DVD player but no TV. The cabin is self contained, has its own access and private parking, you will come to our cottage when you arrive and we will greet you and settle you in. It’s a short walk to the local village with its handy little village shop. There is undercover safe storage for bikes etc. Rural location Very limited bus service however there is a train to Whitland and you can arrange a taxi. Firewood provided
