Luxury Elliott Cottage sleeps four people and is part of the beautiful Wheeldon Trees Cottages retreat. Downstairs in the historic cottage you’ll find open plan living and upstairs there are two bedrooms – a super-king and a twin bedroom. Elliott Cottage has been painstakingly renovated to provide guests with everything they may need while away from home, whether this is a high chair or luxury White Company toiletries. The upstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower and outside of the cottage there is a private enclosed patio. Wheeldon Trees Cottages is a stunning retreat of 10 holiday cottages set in one of Derbyshire's most breathtaking valleys close to Buxton and Bakewell in the Peak District National Park. Alongside the 10 luxury cottages, there's an honesty shop packed with treats, superfast wifi, free electric vehicle charging, a children's play area, a laundry, free electric bike hire and 12 acres of Peak District National Park to enjoy. Historic Wheeldon Trees Cottages is located in one of Derbyshire's most stunning valleys, nestled under High Wheeldon. Breathtaking, with space to breathe, we guarantee vistas with every visit, along with an honesty shop, general store containing anything you may or may not have forgotten, White Company toiletries, the highest of thread counts and the fluffiest towels, EV charging, our own roasted High Wheeldon Rising fresh coffee, super-fast zooming and delicious food and drink deliveries straight to your cottage from our partnership with Sauced Here. Our retreat offers you the chance to enjoy one of England's best rural locations, while at the same time, enjoy luxury accommodation. Our guests are free to roam throughout our 12 acres of Peak District National Park, making friends with cows and sheep (or enjoying the local pub). If you love walking, you can bag a trig by climbing to the top of High Wheeldon directly from your cottage front door. Guests have access to the entire retreat, including children's play area and also have free use of our electric bikes to explore neighbouring villages. If you drive electric, you can make use of our onsite EV charging facility. We're just a call away if you need us or hidden in the background if you want to get away from it all. You'll often find us gardening or working on projects within the retreat. Our gorgeous Wheeldon Trees retreat is located in one of Derbyshire's most breathtaking valleys, nestled under High Wheeldon in Earl Sterndale, which is close to both Buxton and Bakewell. In Buxton you'll find the brand new five star Crescent spa for pampering days out and it's also home to the annual Buxton Festival each year in July. In historic Bakewell, pudding shops abound, alongside stunning cosy cottages. The Peak District National Park offers village after village of charming cottages and things to do and explore. There's plenty of parking on the retreat and free EV charging if you drive electric. A local bus passes the retreat each day, but if you really want to explore the local area you'll need a car. Buxton, our nearest town has a railway station.
