Clean and very comfortable room with ensuite bathroom and snack making facilities if you wish to eat in. Ground floor room with ensuite bathroom with shower over. Guests invited to share the garden, patio and access to woods from rear of garden (see pictures). Tell us in advance if you wish to use the hot tub so we can ensure it is completely ready. Two pubs within 5 minutes walking distance if you want to eat out. Lakeside & Haverthwaite steam train station is two minutes away and offers superb breakfasts, lunch and tea with cake. Parking is good locally with disabled bays, although parking on the narrow roads is not recommended. A wooded neighbourhood near the River Leven and near A590, making trips to the coast or Northern Lakes simple. The Lakeland Motor Museum and Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway are both close by - both have cafes and offer good breakfast and lunch menus along with the usual hot drinks and cake. Good walks from the house and village. Good road links and 20 minutes drive from Bowness on Windermere. Nearest main line station at Cark in Cartmel. Plenty of parking around but take sensible precautions when parking on narrow or twisting roads or lanes. We are located within 5 miles of the Southern tip of Windermere, at Lakeside. Boat trips and trains trips readily available. The Lakeland Car Museum plus cafe is less than a 10 minute walk away on the River Leven. We are nicely situated to reach Coniston, Windermere and Ambleside and yet close to Grizedale Forest
