Detached period house in the heart of Rochester
Wonderful period house dated 1873 in the heart of conservation area, very close to catherdral and castle. The house is totally unique with 5 fireplaces. Tastefully decorated throughout with period furnishings and artworks. Cosy sitting room with working fireplace. Private parking space at rear of house, steps to house at rear. We will entertain pets but only after a conversation at the initial booking stage. Kitchen with large range style cooker, cupboards with full dinner service a dishwaser and fridge. Tumble drier in outside boiler room. Downstairs loo with large walk in shower room. Dining room table and chairs to seat six plus working fireplace. Sitting room with leather sofa and chair, TV , with Freeview. Upstairs Two bedrooms, and a bathroom, with bath and stand in shower. Good quality chinaware, fireplace and a window overlooking the town and Catherdral. Main bedroom has an antique hand carved French king size bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinets, second bedroom has a double bed and one single, wardrobe and chest of drawers. We also have a blow up bed suitable for a small child. We are very close to Rochester Cathedral and Castle and only a two minute walk into the quaint high street that has many buildings that relate to places in Dickens writings. We are also 4 minutes walk from Rochester mainline station that has direct trains (40) minutes to Victoria and Fast trains to St.Pancras. Entrance at the rear of the house is through the wooden gate by the parking space.
