Peaceful, full of character, traditional 18th century Bank Cottage is prominently located in the perfectly preserved, hidden gem of Montgomery in Mid Wales. The cottage is located a five-minute walk from both the main town square in Montgomery awash with fine examples of Georgian architecture and the 11th century Montgomery Castle. There is spectacular walking areas surrounding the cottage on the border of Wales and Shropshire. including the Offa's Dyke Path. The cosy cottage consists of: *Traditional living area with log burner - The other end of this room is the dining area all with a view over the distant hills. *Small but fully equipped kitchen and pantry. Oven, full ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer all available. *Original staircase *Full bathroom with toilet, Bath and electric shower (The bathroom does have a sloping ceiling with restricted head height at one end - all part of the character!) *Bedroom 1 with King size bed, dressing table and clothes storage. *Bedroom 2 with double bed and wardrobe. Outside - Flat garden with bistro table and chairs for two at the front of the property. Slopped back garden with picnic bench and BBQ. On-street parking on a quiet road in front of the property.
