Historic - Urban - Luxury - Downtown Stevens Point

Claflin House (est. 1875) provides a historic, urban, luxury experience with special attention to details. An extensive year-and-a-half long renovation saved this historical beauty. If you plan to not use all the bedrooms reduced pricing is available. Claflin House is NOT a fit for use as an event space with larger gatherings. Designed in a style inspired by country villas in Italy, our Italianate home features eleven-foot ceilings, formal living and dining rooms (complete with, as we found it, original trim and hardwood flooring), a den, powder room, full kitchen, service kitchen, a 2017 Yamaha P22 piano, and two porches. Ascend the remarkable original late-19th century ebonized staircase to the second floor solarium and four private luxury bedrooms - each with en suite bathrooms with showers and double sinks. Aveda shower products, Diptyque bath spray, and Jo Malone hand wash are provided. Our king-sized beds have organic cotton sheets and a selection of pillows for a variety of sleepers. Flat screen TVs, individual climate comfort controls, digital alarm clocks (with attached 2 grounded-power outlets and USB ports) and white-noise sound machines ensure your every comfort. We tend to be hands-off, letting you enjoy the house and the Stevens Point area on your own. However, we are available and enjoy providing any direction that will make your stay more pleasant. The Claflin House is steps from downtown Stevens Point with many other historic homes as part of the city center neighborhood. The Stevens Point area has limited Lyft ridesharing services available. - All TVs provide access to the free Netflix house account. - An Honor Bar for interested guests 21 years of age and older (Note: As the name suggests, the Honor Bar is on your honor, recommended contributions are posted, it is intended for light guest enjoyment not for complete-stay provisioning. - Exterior 120V and 240V outlets to conveniently charge electric cars. - Parking is only available for four vehicles per our licensing. Street parking is a block away.
