You'll be staying just minutes from Brooks School, Merrimack College and Phillips Academy Andover; weddings at The Stevens Estate, Smolak Farms and the Stevens-Coolidge Place; the new Amazon site; and holiday parties and functions at Salvatore's in Lawrence, Mass. You will be a 5-minute ride or Uber to the commuter train to downtown Boston for seeing the 4th of July fireworks and hearing the Boston Pops, as well as for First Night. The world-famous Topsfield Fair is a scenic, 20-minute-drive away. If you want to visit Salem for Halloween, its Haunted Happenings are 45 minutes away. My home is perfect for visiting students at nearby schools; relaxing indoors and out; crashing after a wonderful nearby celebration with friends and family; and exploring Boston, the North Shore and New Hampshire! You will have private use of one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a full bathroom with shower/tub and endless hot water (it heats on demand). You will share access to all living areas and amenities in the home: a family room with a 60" flat-screen TV; free Wi-Fi; a large deck with two seating areas (including a covered area) overlooking a gorgeous Japanese style garden with 3-season interest; a washer and dryer; a kitchen with electric stove, stocked pantry and cookware; and a half bath. There's also plenty of room to spread out and work on your laptop at the dining room table. Rental includes freshly washed bedding, towels, and bathrobes for two adults. I stay in the master bedroom (with my tiny dog and two indoor/outdoor cats that come and go) and share the common spaces. I try to let my guests determine the level of interaction as I'm usually busy with friends or family. But I love making new friends from around the world and am readily available to provide recommendations for your stay, if requested. I look forward to welcoming you into my home! There are many good restaurants within a quick drive and you can easily walk to the Good Day Cafe (URL HIDDEN) and Jaime's Restaurant (URL HIDDEN) even watch the planes as you grab diner food at the Lawrence Airport just a quick stroll across the neighboring McEvoy Park. The commuter rail to Boston (Haverhill line/Lawrence stop) is minutes away, and I can advise on using public transportation and all the lovely new and old things the city has to offer. You'll also be close to highways for day trips to fantastic beaches, leaf peeping, and outlet and other shopping. The park across the street has a cinder path for jogging, a basketball net, softball fields and a new playground. The house has driveway parking for two guest cars, and the commuter rail to Boston (Haverhill line/Lawrence stop) is minutes away by car or Uber. It's a lovely neighborhood with quiet streets. A second bedroom is available as a nursery for an additional $50/night. It comes with a crib, high chair, toys, room-darkening shades, and a baby tub.
