Eye-catcher of the villa is the thatched roof made of Balinese alang-alang grass. The roof is extended, providing lovely shaded terraces, both on the garden side and the sea side of the villa. The lay-out of the villa is designed to make maximum use of the fantastic view of the Bali Sea and the sea breeze that provides natural cooling. Villa The Mango Trees is very spacious, the built-up area of the villa is about 300 square meters. In the garden a laundry is build for the staff, where they have their own facilities, plus washing machine, dryer, ironing. There is also a spacious studio in the garden that is not rented out and will not be used during your stay. The villa has a large tropical garden of 1.450 sqm and a beautiful swimming pool of 6 meter wide and 12 meter long, the depth increases from 1.0 meter to 1.6 meter. The villa is located directly at the beach and you have your own beachfront of 30 meters wide! The villa has 4 spacious and attractively decorated bedrooms, 2 at the garden side and 2 at the sea side. Each bedroom has a queen size bed with mosquito nets, air conditioning and a private bathroom. The bathrooms are beautifully decorated in Balinese style, partly open-air with a rain-shower, a wash basin and a toilet. The master bathroom has also a beautiful sunken white marble bath. The 5th bathroom is outside next to the shower of the swimming pool and has also a sunken bath where you can enjoy a delicious bath in the open air. In the two garden rooms an extra single bed can be placed if required. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen made of Javanese teak wood with an open design and a charming and luxuriously decorated living room with sliding glass doors to the sea facing terrace. Here you will find a large dining table and a spacious seating area with lounge sofa. From the terrace you have a magnificent view over the Bali Sea! A large paras stone terrace equipped with sun beds and umbrellas surrounds the swimming pool that is tiled with green natural stone. Of course the bale benong at the beach side is not missing. This typical Indonesian open room with thatched roof and provided with mattress and pillows is the ultimate place to relax and to enjoy the fantastic view. In front of the dining area on the shaded terrace there is a palm garden to enjoy maximum privacy and coolness. A nicely landscaped lotus pond is integrated in the terrace. On the garden side of the villa you will find another shaded terrace surrounded by tropical plants and flowers which provides a tranquil place to relax with great views of the garden. A particular feature of the villa is the rooftop terrace with a second bale benong equipped with thick mattresses and pillows, the ideal place to enjoy the sunset with a cool drink. The sunset at this coast is spectacular! The villa is equipped with all modern conveniences such as free Wi-Fi internet access, satellite TV, DVD with surround system, a washing machine, a gas BBQ, 2 safe deposit boxes to store valuables and in the bookcases are Dutch, English and some Danish, German and Swedish books, CDs and many DVDs for use. The kitchen has all modern conveniences such as a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge, wine cooler, toaster, blender, rice cooker, Nespresso coffee maker and a water dispenser. You do not only have plenty of privacy and comfort during your stay but you also enjoy the service you normally get in a luxury hotel. In the villa 6 days a week welcoming staff is at your service! They take care of the cleaning, the laundry, the grocery shopping and prepare on request delicious meals for you. Because of the location of the bedrooms on both sides of the villa you have a lot of privacy, whether you are a couple or a family or staying with multiple families or a group of friends. Villa The Mango Trees has all the amenities you need such as free Wi-Fi Internet, TV, DVD, all kitchen appliances, a washing machine, a safe deposit box, air conditioning etc. In the villa staff will be at your service 6 days a week (on Sundays they are normally off). Besides the cleaning and the laundry, they can do the groceries and prepare delicious meals for you (breakfast, lunch and diner), you will be pampered! The staff costs are fully included in the rental rate, so the preparing of all the meals by the cook is also included, only the groceries are at your own expense, however prices for food are still very low in Bali. The staff also can do the groceries for you, they then go to the local market to buy fresh things and also to the supermarket to buy drinks, bread etc. You can choose yourselves what you want to eat every day, in the villa is a list with menu suggestions, but the cook of the villa can make all dishes, Western as well as Asian food, she is a fantastic cook! Some weeks prior to your arrival we will send you the information guide of the villa with more background of the villa, the service of the staff and nice suggestions to do and to see in the surroundings. In the villa you will find also a hard copy of this guide. After your arrival a contact person of our local helpdesk will visit you in the villa to welcome you in person. During your stay you can always contact the help desk, 24h a day, for any questions you might have. The phone number of the help desk is listed in the information guide. Of course we will be also reachable at any time by mail and phone. The villa is located within 10 minute driving from Lovina center, the tourist village on the north coast of Bali. Transport can be easily arranged during your stay in the villa. The surroundings provide ample scope for exploring, discovery and activities. Beautiful beaches, dolphin trips, terraced rice-fields, plantations, mountains, temples and some nice villages and towns are close by, such as Lovina and Singaraja. This old capital of Bali is home to the Gedong Kirtya library where you will find the famous Lontar Manuscripts. South of Singaraja you find he most spectacular waterfall of Bali, the Git Git waterfall. About 10 minutes from the villa the Buddhist monastery, Brahma Vihara Arama, also called the little Borobodur, is worth a visit, just as the famous Hot Springs of Air Panas which are 5 minutes away. You will find wonderful snorkeling and diving sites, such as Menjangan Island nearby and also one of the finest golf courses in Asia, the Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club, is just an hour's drive away. You will be surprised by this authentic part of Bali, more and more people are discovering the still pristine, unspoiled and authentic north coast! The best way to get around on Bali is with your own transport, whether you drive, hire a driver or ride a bike. This gives you the flexibility to explore at will and allows you to reach many places that are otherwise inaccessible. Public transport is cheap but can be cause for very long journeys if you’re not sticking to a major route. In addition, some places are just impossible to reach. Most of our guests use the services of a car with driver. We can arrange the transport from the airport (or from another place on Bali if you arrived earlier) to the villa for you. Our driver will be waiting for you to bring you comfortable with a private car to the villa. The transportation costs are not included in the rental rate and have to be paid directly to the driver after arriving at the villa. For sightseeing tours you can use also one of the drivers, arrangements cab e made with the staff of the villa or our local helpdesk. The drivers speak all English and are also very good guides, they know the nicest places to visit on Bali! You need to give them money in advance to go to the supermarket or to the local market. Afterwards they will provide you with receipts. The staff will only charge you a small fee (20.000 IDR) for the transportation costs. Prices for food are affordable, the cost of living is still very low in this northern part of Bali. • We are pleased to arrange the transport from the airport in Denpasar (or another place if you arrived already earlier on Bali) to the villa. The driver will pick you up and bring you comfortable with a private car to the villa. The cost of this transfer is 650.000 IDR (max. 5 persons plus luggage) or 750.000 IDR (max. 7 persons plus luggage). The costs for the transport are not included in the rental rate and have to be paid to the driver after arrival at the villa. Unless a specific arrangement has been made, check-in is after 14.00h, check-out is at 12.00h.
