This restored victorian home in Galway Centre is just 3 minutes walk from the best restaurants and bars in the city, 7 minutes walk from Quay Street and 5 minutes walk from the beach. Ideal for a family it has 2 kitchens, 3 seating areas, 2 dining areas 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We normally rent just 1 floor of the house so this is a new listing and therefore has no reviews. This house is suitable for families but NOT suitable for parties, large groups etc. Crescent House is a 3 story Victorian home 7 minutes walk from Galway's city centre & 5 minutes walk from the sea. The house is furnished in a mixture of antique and modern furniture. You will have a spacious double room and a very comfy king bed and there is a bathroom across the hall. Paid parking is available on the street outside the house but there is free parking on an adjacent street. This home was lovingly refurbished in 2011 and all the historical features have been retained. Original wooden floors and shutters, high ceilings and sash windows combine with the cosiness and comfort of modern conveniences. The kitchen is modern but with an original fireplace in the dining area. Crescent House has hosted a number of historical figures in the past. The Crescent is one of the most prestigious addresses in Galway. Please note that the street view here does not show the correct street for some reason. Within 3 minutes walk you will find one of Galway's best restaurants, Kai Cafe and the well known Crane Bar home to some of the best traditional music in town. A further 2 minutes will bring you to more award winning restaurants with the famous Quay Streetonly a 7 minute stroll. Other restaurants close by that we recommend include Ard Bia and Anair and we highly recommend Neachtains pub - you never know who you'll run into there over a pint of Guinness. Walk the other direction and within 5 minutes you are on Salthills promenade looking across Galway Bay to the hills of Clare and the Burren. While you're here enjoy some unique food experiences, get caught in a 'session' in Neachtains, catch a play at the Druid Theatre or a gig in Roisins. Visit Connemara the Aran Islands and The Cliffs of Moher or join me for an early morning dip in Galway Bay at Salthill. We speak Spanish and French and we have WiFi, bicycles, lots of recommendations and loads of books - no TV though. Looking forward to meeting you......... Entire house is available Have a great time in galway 7 minutes walk from Quay Street and 5 minutes walk from the beach. On street parking available outside (paid) but FREE parking 3 mins away None
