Wompoo Cottage close to Lake Eacham

The cottage is on a ten acre property, surrounded by nature in every direction. The cottage is spacious with unique features like an outdoor bath and a lovely rainforest driveway. Rare and endemic species of rainforest and fruit trees. Wildlife and birds live and visit the property . Tree kangaroos nearby. The Crater Lakes National Park and several towns are only 10 mins away. Secluded and magical in it's nature , Wompoo is the place to stay and take in natures ever changing ambience. The rainforest driveway leads you to 'Wompoo Cottage' which is private and secluded. The cottage is nestled behind a bamboo fence and gardens with views to nearby hills. From the spacious patio you can watch the breathtaking sunsets and bird life. It has a claw bath outside so you can enjoy the stars and the sounds of nature while indulging. Platypus viewing is a 5 min drive and you might even see a Tree Kangaroo. Yungaburra, Malanda and Lake Eacham are only a 10min drive . If you want a private, peaceful, quiet , comfortable and bon afide country experience with a bit of luxury thrown in' Wompoo Cottage' is the place for you. The immediate space around the cottage is available to guests and if you ask me, I have a small shop in the nearby shed where you can purchase vintage, retro and funky clothes for men and women , bric a brac and books are also available. I have lots of up to date pamphlets in the studio of what's on and where to go. I am always available for questions. I will respect your privacy and engage when you desire to. I have a list of places to go and wonderful things to see. There is a DVD player at the cottage too. This unique neighborhood is close to tropical rainforests. Lush rolling hills and abundant nature. It is very close to Crater Lakes National Park and Mt Bartle Frere and many other spectacular sites you may want to visit. Platypus viewing nearby and Winfield Park and Nerada tea factory are only a 10min drive away where you will have a good chance of seeing Tree Kangaroos. Restraurants are a 10min drive also. It is a very peaceful area, away from the sounds of the busy city. A swim in the beautiful Lake Eacham 5 min drive will wash all the worries of living in this busy world away. You need your own transport. The cottage is in a central location to many places and things to do. Many amazing exciting rainforest walks are close by. A swim at the lake is only a 5min drive away. Stores are only a 5 to 10 min drive away. Abundance of bird life and nature surrounds. I have a washing machine and dryer at my house, if you want me to do washing or drying there will be a small fee charged. The nearby towns also have a laundry.
