A five-minute stroll takes you to the nearest beach and to the village of Scario - a picturesque fishing village often referred to as ‘South of Italy’s Portofino’, with shops, good restaurants and a pretty harbour. A little further afield are some of Cilento’s most acclaimed seaside resorts, such as Marina di Camerota, Palinuro, Villammare, Sapri and Maratea which are often linked by a boat service during the summer months. As well as a wide variety of landscapes, ranging from long sandy beaches to rocky coves and steep cliffs, from forested hills to barren plateau, this region also offers excellent cuisine and outdoor activities to suit all tastes.
