The Ferny Hoolet is a stunning chalet that embraces nature & is full of character. It is a wildlife oasis where you can regularly see kingfishers, woodpeckers and hear ferny hoolets from your balcony. When you are not chilling in the hot tub you can enjoy the tranquillity of the indoor space, which has a wonderful relaxing feel good atmosphere. We are just 30 minutes to the Lake District and 2 miles to M6 which offers great access to explore the N.W. We allow 2 well behaved small/medium dogs. The open plan 1st floor includes a kitchen, with all essentials & dishwasher, a breakfast bar, 4 seater dining table & sofa, 65" smart TV, sound bar & Wi-Fi. Doors open onto spacious decking that overhangs the lake. There is a luxury Serenity 5 seater hot tub with adjustable temperature, massage jets, mood lighting and Bluetooth speakers. The patio set overlooks a majestic 2 acre fly fishery, a perfect setting for your morning breakfast. There are 2 ensuite bedrooms. The first bedroom includes a luxury massage bath shower unit with a 3kw steam generator. The first bedroom can either be set up as a luxury super king or as a twin room with 2 singles. The second bedroom has a small double and a single bed. Parking outside the front door. The Ferny Hoolet is a gem of natural beauty situated on Bank House Fly Fishery in the picturesque Lune Valley. The village of Caton has 2 pubs and local shops just 400 yards walking distance from your door. Lancaster City centre is just 5 miles away, which you can also walk or cycle to along the Millennium Riverside Walk. Just 30 minutes from the heart of the Lake District and 2 minutes away from the M6, The Ferny Hoolet is a perfect base to explore the North West. Fly fishing, tuition with England International Gold Medallist Ben Dobson and tackle hire are all available and on your doorstep. Free parking on site right by your door. Local bus stop at the end of the lane. The Ferny Hoolet overlooks Bank House Fly Fishery, a renowned water known for its large quality trout of which there are 5 different species. Can you complete the Bank House McNab (all 5 species during your stay)? Expert fly fishing tuition is available, as well as tackle hire. It is advisable to book in advance if possible.
