Only 20 minutes drive from York or 10 minutes from York Park and Ride with good train links, Katherine Cottage is a country getaway which is also perfect for seeing some of Yorkshire's greatest sights. Only 5 minutes from the A1, Harrogate, Leeds, North York Moors and Dales are all accessible in under 1 hour. Buses leave to York, Ripon and Boroughbridge from our village. Cattal train station close by runs trains to York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Leeds. 20-25 minute car journeys to York and Harrogate. We have a rescue dog who can get defensive so any dogs with you should be kept on a lead in the grounds. We can recommend very nice local walks where dogs can run free.
