Built in 2000, this is a classic A-frame house with contemporary furnishings, original artwork, high-end linens, fully stocked kitchen, Smart TV, fast internet, outdoor private hot tub, large deck, fireplace, 2 car attached garage, mud room with boot dryer, full size laundry, located within the resort. Dogs considered, subject to additional fee. Not childproof, not recommended for those under 7. Sleeps 6. Located at the Kirkwood Ski Resort, in the newer East Meadows neighborhood below Red Cliffs. Free shuttle to resort from driveway. Steps away from dog-friendly meadow and cross country loop. Immaculate, two thousand square feet, this is a cozy modern cabin great for a family or two to three couples. Great room combines living room, dining and a granite counter top kitchen. Light grey carpeting lends a contemporary feel (no outdoor shoes please!), floor to ceiling windows, clean wood burning fireplace insert, flat panel SmartTV (sign into Netflix, Showtime, etc. utilizing fiber optic cable internet or use Satellite TV). Two bedrooms on the main level along with an open floor space great room including dining nook, living space, granite kitchen with island and bath (tub/shower). Step outside to a large deck with views of the resort and a private 8 person hot tub. Upstairs is a loft with seating and the master bedroom with a large shower. The master has a desk, cell booster, wifi (throughout the house), printer and monitor if you need to get some work done. The entry level houses the large mud room, boot dryer, full size washer / dryer and has direct indoor access to the two car garage. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances (June Oven, dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator, blender, coffee makers (Nespresso & classic), waffle iron, crock pot, blender, toaster, etc, gadgets, dishes & glassware, and basic spices. We have a strict 6 guest limit. You will have access to the house with self check in (via a key code via the garage and back up key for the front door). Once booked, the access code will be provided. Hiking, biking, cross country and downhill all easily accessible. 1 mile from the Lodge within the Resort boundary, accessible via on-demand shuttle from driveway. Absolutely no loud parties please. Resort bus access to the ski area, call and get picked up! We are a professional couple in Silicon Valley who run a tech business and occasionally rent out this 2nd home. The house is not childproof and in extreme snowfall years, the deck is not shoveled and the roof may shed snow onto the yard. Exercise caution and good judgement.
