Lovedean Granary, welcoming and cosy
This former grain barn is a lovely open space to spend a few nights, with a cosy, homely feel, perfect for working away, a family adventure, or for a romantic getaway. Surrounded by fields, the nearest pub is a short walk away. The granary comprises of a double bed and bathroom downstairs and two single beds on a mezzanine floor, accessed by steep wooden ladder stairs. Upstairs is an open space so young children need to supervised. There is no kitchen. Outside space with a table and chairs. We have two friendly dogs who play in the garden, we also have a football goal that can be used by children. Our home is opposite the granary. The granary has two parking spaces. If you’re lucky you may see foxes or deer in the garden. Due to being in the country, the WiFi may be temperamental at times. We are always on hand to chat to, either in person or on the phone, to provide information wherever possible e.g, numbers for taxis or suggestions for days/eating out We are surrounded by farmland, around 3 miles from Waterlooville town centre, and 9 miles from Petersfield. We are also close to Portsmouth, Chichester, Goodwood, Winchester, Southampton, Hayling Island, and Chichester where you can shop to your heart’s content, attend numerous festivals and racing, or explore a wealth of delicious restaurants. The granary is also perfect for a stopover before catching the ferry from Portsmouth to France, Spain or the Isle of Wight. There are several nice places nearby to eat breakfast lunch and dinner nearby. By car, motorbike and taxi, or by foot or bicycle along country lanes for those trips to the pub A kettle is provided with Tea, coffee and milk. Upstairs the two windows are on floor level. A mini fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, mugs, and cutlery are all available with an Iron and ironing board available on request. Please note the WiFi signal can be poor due to being in the country.
