London is 22 mins by direct train to London Marylebone. Heathrow Airport is is 20-40 mins by car and attractions such as Windsor, Marlow and Ascot are in easy reach. The apartment is entered via the property's own private entrance into the hallway. From the hallway (coat cupboard/wardrobe) there are stairs to the open plan kitchen/dining/living room. The well-fitted kitchen has a fridge, hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. The dining table has views over the garden and surrounding area and doubles as a workstation. The open plan room is well lit from the many windows and velux skylights and there is a comfortable L- shaped leather sofa in the living area. The bathroom suite is white and bright with a shower, toilet, vanity unit, shaving point and anti-mist mirror. The bedroom is cosy with bedlinen from The White Company, touch bedside lamps and plenty of storage. The apartment has a relaxed and comfy feel and is ideal for short breaks, holidays or a place to stay whilst visiting family and friends in the area. Gerrards Cross is a good location for visiting attractions in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire or day trips to London. It even has its own cinema, an Everyman Cinema where you can enjoy food and drinks whilst watching a film in comfort. GX is a leafy suburb with great communication links. Heathrow is less than 30 minutes away and even quicker is London on the efficient Chiltern Line to London Marylebone. Here you have access to the whole of London via the underground or taxi if you prefer. South Buckinghamshire is dominated by The Chilterns Hills formed by chalk and has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Close by is a large ancient beech wood called Burnham Beeches Nature Reserve (200 acres) and next to Pinewood Studios is Black Park Country Park another great location for walking or cycling. We visit these two areas (10 mins by car) regularly to walk our working cocker called Rosie. A little further away you can visit the pretty towns of Beaconsfield, Old Amersham, Marlow, Windsor, Ascot, to name a just a few and there is easy access to the M25, M40 and M4 if you wish to explore further afield.
