The Rose Room, a recently renovated agricultural building, has high ceilings, beams and beautiful views overlooking the patio, gardens, green fields down into the valley below and hills surrounding the Tiefy Valley beyond. Within walking distance of Llanwnnen village, the local pub and bus routes to the nearest towns and further. An ideal place to explore Ceredigion from Mountain to coast and all in-between. Market towns, Museums, National Trust locations, gardens, cycle tracks and footpaths. Your room will delight you as you enter, a king size bed, the Rose room is a light and airy, spacious room, with it’s own entrance, direct from the patio. With good wardrobe space and hospitality facilities at hand. You can relax and chill. The outside spaces are generous, a well presented patio leading onto landscape gardens and lawns. Beyond are the green pastures, grazed by sheep. Home to numerous wildlife, including foxes, rabbits, birds of prey, and seasonal migrating birds. The occasional fly by of Canadian Geese is a sight and sound to behold. You are most welcome, come and enjoy. We look forward to greeting you. From the spacious car park, you enter onto the furnished patio area which leads you to your room, you enter your room from the patio. You are welcome to use the garden as you wish, photography, painting, admire the seasonally changing flowers and colours. Our own private dinning room is available for breakfast only. This is our home, having retired from over 35 years in the hospitality industry. We love to be at home in our gardens, and to continue exploring the local area, walking, cycling and enjoying everything this area has to offer. And now we enjoy sharing this beautiful part of Wales. If breakfast is required please book in advance and we will personally cook it for you, serving it in our own dining room or on the patio, weather permitting. Lampeter University town is 3 miles away, with good shops, amenities, museums, swimming pool. Aberaeron Georgian harbour town, with beautifully colourful painted properties is 12 miles. Aberystwyth and Cardigan towns are well worth a visit. In the locality there are Roman gold miles, castles, National Trust sites and several gardens, including the National Botanical Gardens. If it’s adventurous activity your after, horse riding, canoeing (white water) climbing etc. As well as walking or cycling from the front door! Most guests would arrive by car. The local pub is 5 minutes walking distance. From where there is bus routes to local towns Lampeter, Aberystwyth and Carmarthen, also further afield to Cardiff. Taxis are a phone call away. Cycles can be stored safely and securely. Due to Co-vid we will ask to take your temperature on arrival, together with a track and trace form. Having been born and lived in Ceredigion all his life, Welsh speaking Siriol knows the county well. He has excellent knowledge of the area, being a well of information not found in tourist guides.
