Bellprt Apt w/ Pool, HotTub, Coffee, Wine & Snacks

Welcome to Pilly's Place, our downstairs apartment with its own private entrance. We just renovated the whole space this summer so everything is brand new; new walls, tile floors, cabinets, fixtures, bedding, everything. We are proud to offer it to you as an affordable lodging option right in Bellport Village. The apartment is equipped with everything keeping your comfort in mind. Enter the apartment via a private staircase and private entrance. You will find yourself first in the kitchen where goodies will await you including complimentary water bottles, snacks, coffee/tea and wine (please tell us your preference red, white or rose!). Further on will be the bathroom with all new fixtures, plenty of light and a glass enclosed shower. We will provide you with plenty of clean towels and toiletries. Next to the bathroom is the bedroom with a full sized canopy bed, new bedding, ceiling fan and closet. Our TV hang out area is up a few steps from the kitchen area. It's actually pretty cool to ascend to a rather large area that has a couch, TV, work desk, dresser and even an extra full bed. The apartment is equipped with heat and a/c as well as a dehumidifier and air purifier. We are overly conscientious about maintaining the proper air quality for our guests. For safety purposes, we have two (to code) exit windows and exterior door. You will find the space surprisingly airy and well lit, both naturally and artificially. As guests of Pilly's place you will have your own, private downstairs apartment. Please note that we live upstairs from the apartment but our spaces are separate and inaccessible from each other. When we have guests, we tiptoe and speak quietly. That said, you might still hear us or our animals at some point during your stay. If you are especially sensitive to sounds, you might consider staying in our other airbnb rental which is a standalone cottage. We live on the property so we might run into you in the driveway or yard. We will absolutely respect your privacy but if you would like local tips and friendly converstation, please approach us. Downtown Bellport Village is only a 10 minute walk from the house. The Bellport Country Club is a 2 minute walk and great for those attending a wedding there. In town, we have several restaurants, coffee shops, health food store, food market and pharmacy. A bit further, but still walking distance is the gateway playhouse (It's Haunted House season!), beach and marina. Bellport Village was voted by Conde Nast as one of the top ten quaintest waterfront villages in the US! Bellport Village is very easy to reach via LIRR and by car. Once here, Bellport Village is very walkable because everything is condensed in a few square miles. We do offer bicycles also for those who enjoy taking in the scene on wheels. We have dogs and cats who have access to the fenced yard where you will be entering. They do not have access to your apartment. If you are skittish about animals, you may want to consider staying elsewhere. The dogs (Willy and Paco) are friendly and will want to greet you. Alternatively, if you would like to stay here but do not want to have any contact with the dogs, we can arrange to keep them away from you with advanced notice. Please note also that there is no cooking in the apartment, only reheating in the microwave or storing food in the fridge. You are welcome to use Ubereats or DoorDash, etc for food or dine at any one of our many restaurants/take out options in town. We have a dedicated parking spot in our driveway for one car only please. Also, no weed smoking either anywhere on or within the property. The smell of weed causes the dog to think there is a skunk on the property and he will start to howl. One final note.. Since we live above the apartment, we literally tiptoe when you're here. Unfortunately, all attempts to train the dogs and cats to tiptoe have failed. It is possible that you will hear an animal walking above. It is also possible that you will hear a dog bark or a cat meow. If you think these possible sounds might disturb you, perhaps you would be better suited in another rental. Having said all of that, we strive to limit sounds from above. Thank you for reading all of this!
