The Firs Suffolk - The Butterchurn

The Butterchurn is the perfect getaway for 2 people with your own private wood fired soaking tub. Dual aspect terraces; have a coffee in the morning with pheasants wandering through the garden and finish off the day with a sun downer on the west terrace over looking the old barn. In between you can just relax on site, take a walk or cycle down country lanes or travel further a field to the beautiful Suffolk coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh. The Butterchurn has its own private wood fired hot tub (new for 2022). As per arrangement, we can fill the hot tub for your arrival. We provide enough wood etc for initial heating and top up heating for the next day. If you wish us to light it so you can jump straight in on arrival, our 'Ready to Dip' option is £25. The Firs Suffolk also has The Spa, with Sauna. The Spa is available to hire for 2 hour slots £40. You have your own firepit but you can also hire pizza ovens. Or you can go for a cycle ride, we have bikes to hire. Please see our website thefirssuffolk for all the little extras to make your stay special. We live in the main house on site. We are very hand-off, but of course feel free to knock on the door and ask us questions. Very quite in the middle of the countryside full of wildlife including rabbits, hares, owls, bats, birds, and deer. You would be able to get a taxi from a train station. But most people do arrive by car. Great walking and cycling routes nearby
