The Shirlie House - B & B - Compass Pond Room

Come feel at home at The Shirlie House Bed & Breakfast (formerly The Young House). Home style breakfast is included, served daily from 8:30 - 9:30. Common areas include large dining room, living room, and parlor. Large porch to enjoy your coffee or evening glass of wine. Short drive to Baxter State Park for hiking, camping, boating, snowmobiling and other outdoor activities. The Compass Pond Room has a queen bed, a roll-out cot, and an ensuite bathroom. "Library” on 2nd floor includes coffee bar, snacks, baskets of extra toiletries, mini fridge and library. Guests needing to get started for an early hike or other adventure, can have a pre-made breakfast for pickup in the mini fridge. Guests may help themselves to complimentary coffee, espresso, tea, snacks and toiletries. Guests will have access to front door via security code, and will be able to come and go as they please. Owners live off site approximately 1 minute away. Steps from downtown Millinocket, including quaint restaurants, shops, post office, and art galleries.
