Immerse in the serenity of French Country charm living in this private country estate located in a quaint rural village surrounded by nature. The main house is the perfect place to retrieve from the buzzing city, refresh and replenish. It is ideal for families who want to enjoy quality time in a nature-filled environment and remove themselves from the stress of city-living and everyday work life. Maison Regina is a haven waiting for you! Our family home welcomes you! Pass the 9-foot wrought iron gate to enter the grand estate. The main house where you will stay is located on the Southside. This red brick Longère house, typical to the area, was rebuilt after the Great War and is covered with manicured Virginia Creepers. The front door opens onto the large kitchen with period tiles and a brick bar separating the dining area. The rustic kitchen is fully equipped. Appliances include: A Rosière induction cooktop and Electrolux oven. A mid-size refrigerator. Siemens Dishwasher. A Faure washing machine. There is also a microwave, toaster, water kettle, pots, and pans in different sizes, dishes, and drinkware. For coffee lovers, there is a Nespresso machine with pods ready to use. The large adjacent living room with period tiles and my parent's original furniture is the heart of the home. The expansive wood-burning fireplace is a show stopper. The two large original bay windows flank the 11 Feet tall ceiling and face both the courtyard and the street. Enjoy your favorite Netflix series on a 55" 4K LG TV with FireStick. The flow continues onto the unique bistro. This was my dad's favorite place in the house where he would go to splice our holiday family film and entertain friends when they would come to visit. This is a great place to relax while enjoying the views of the courtyard. You can access the expansive garden from here. The grand office/library next to the bistro has floor-to-ceiling wood paneling and looks out to the greenery. Retrieve in this comfortable space to get work done via the wireless fiber optic internet connection. The office can serve as an extra bedroom with the available sofa bed. A large 1970's style tiled bathroom suite with a shower over the tub, a separate toilet, and a dressing area completes this floor and is adjacent to the living room. Carpeted stairs lead to the bedroom level and another full bath. The sizeable primary suite has exposed beams, great closet space and enjoys sunlight exposure throughout the day. The other two bedrooms are located at the end of the western wing. The green room at the end of the corridor has a double (full) bed. The pink room has two single (twin) beds. Both rooms enjoy excellent sun exposure and views on the garden and share a full longitudinal bath with a bathtub and a single vanity. Step outside into your private park, with centennial trees and a multitude of flowers. Enjoy a soccer game on the manicured lawn, relax with a good book on the lounge chair and enjoy outdoor dining. Stretching forward from the château, the Avenue de Beaux Monts scales the heights of the same name, providing a scenic promenade into the woods. The forest is also famous for being the armistice site between the allies and Germany in 1918. You can visit the renowned wagon where the signature took place.
