1930’s Uptown House

Located at the upper end of Main Street, this 1930’s store front has been converted to a unique getaway. This special place is close to local restaurants and bars and within minutes of groceries, gas and shopping making it easy to plan your visit. The Uptown House is a spacious one bedroom, one bath with a full kitchen, High-Speed Fiber Optic Wi-Fi internet and a 43-inch TV with an abundance of channels to watch after a long day adverturing around Challis. You will have access to to the entire house and backyard garden. Parking in on Main Street in front of the house. We live in Challis and will typically be accessible during your stay whether it be for questions or cocktails! The neighborhood is Main Street Challis! We hope you will spend time in the neighborhood. If you want to get out of town, visit the Land of the Yankee Fork State Park and Bayhorse townsite and remnants of the mining operations. If you feel like venturing out a little further, head the the Yankee Fork of the Salmon River and visit the Yankee Fork Dredge and the ghost towns of Bonanza and Custer. During the spring through fall seasons, visit the Challis Golf Course for lunch or dinner and enjoy the best view in town.
