The property has manicured grounds with specialty flowering plants and gardens enchantment provided by butterflies and beautiful nighttime fireflies. Some seasonal nocturnal plants close at night time, signaling a time of rest. Guests can access all the common areas such as the kitchen, dining room, living room. We allow parking on the premises with a two-car max. The area is walkable with metro north within five blocks, and Thornwood shopping center within a mile. People walk, drive, bus, Uber and bike depending on their preferences and whether they are neighborhood hopping to Chappaqua, Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, etc. The property is a historic home with a lot of flexible space. We haven't had young children in the property for many years, so it is not child proofed. Open spaces require parental supervision. There is another duplex townhome in the rear of the property with it's own building entry, porch and garage space with a great professional couple as our long term residents and resource.
