Come and enjoy this beautifully renovated cottage as a base to enjoy all that Staffordshire and Derbyshire has to offer. Alton Towers, Buxton, Ashbourne and Leek all within a 30 minute drive. To enjoy a bike ride, you need to only venture 5 minutes down the road and then you will be on the Manifold track. If you fancy going further afield you can visit either Carsington water or Tittesworth reservoir, both offering excellent views and tracks. Then the Peak district is also on the doorstep. The cottage offers a spacious living room with a large corner sofa, the fully fitted oak kitchen is a great space to cook any meals or to knock up a nice picnic before you head out. Upstairs you will see on your right the bathroom, this compact room offers a lovely shower, with a rainfall shower head, the heated towel rail will keep your towels nice and dry. Both bedrooms have sturdy locally sourced wooden beds, the main bedroom is king-sized and the second smaller bedroom has the bunk-beds in. Outside we made the most of the time to completely overhaul the yard to make it into a safe beautiful and relaxing environment. The cottage sits next to main road, thankfully the thick stone walls keep the noise to a minimum. Parking of your car comes as either parking on the road itself outside of the property or a better space to park is on the local pub car park, the landlord of Ye Olde Crown has kindly offered this space to us, all he asks is that you spend a bob or two with him. Just mention you are stopping at 3 railway cottages down the road. Only available via the phone due to work. A very friendly village full of lovely people. There are 2 bus stops within a 5 minute walk from the property.
