Vintage vibe, cozy, rustic bungalow south of Easton, PA on 2+ acres, adjacent to woods and park-like meadow. 1 mile from Delaware River; 4 miles from Upper Bucks. 1 bedroom w/Queen bed + pullout sofa in living room, sleeps 2-3 comfortably. Private deck/patio space; wooded and sunny areas. Secluded country getaway only 69 miles from NYC, easily accessible via Rt 78. Bike / hike / x-country ski along Delaware River Park & local roads. Near Lafayette College & Lehigh University. Year round home. Stay in our private, cozy, vintage bungalow south of Easton, PA, on a hilltop near the Delaware River. The home is in a secluded but easily accessible area on a 2+ acre parcel of mixed sunny open and wooded land. A great weekend getaway from New York City or Philadelphia - 69 miles from NYC. The house features 1 queen size bed in private bedroom and 1 pull-out bed in living room, comfortably sleeping 2-3 guests total. Full-size kitchen appliances, washer+dryer, and driveway for parking available. There is a private outdoor patio / deck with table and chairs as well as a small private porch/deck attached to the house. You may use the entire private house: living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and use the washer and dryer in the basement of the house (W/D accessed via outdoor stairway). Feel free to walk around near the house and use the outdoor deck / patio area. We will sometimes be available in a separate house on the property next door, but live most of the time elsewhere. Available to answer any questions by phone or email during your entire stay. One mile walk or drive to the Delaware river (I like to run or bike down there, my husband prefers to drive:); nearby local ice cream shop Canal Side Cup; and 60 mile long public park path/trail along the Delaware offers easy access, four season activities: biking, hiking, jogging, walking, cross-country skiing, and river access. (The path is flat but the surrounding, mostly rural farmland, is hilly for a little more challenging biking if that's what you're looking for). There are local farm stands and beautiful countryside. We are four miles north of Upper Bucks County, and a quick drive to downtown Easton. We have friendly neighbors, though the house is quite private so you really don't see them. It is a beautiful place to spend time year round. Easily accessible by Route 78 by car (or bus). Accessible by bus + taxi to downtown Easton (Trans-Bridge, Greyhound, and other carriers). An easy 1.5 hour drive from New York or Philadelphia. Great biking on country roads and tow path in the surrounding area.
