Stylish Private Oceanfront Pool Casa- 3BR +AC, WFH

Unwind in our newly renovated beach house stocked with modern touches like AC in all 3 bedrooms, high speed internet, newly build inground glass-tile pool and patio, wrap around porch, soaring ceilings & many little "moments" throughout the house and property. We have named this pretty 70s beach casa "Luna Del Mar" and have spent the last 8 months remodeling & adding special touches that we hope you will enjoy. There are many areas built for relaxing and taking in the ocean views like hammocks, swings, and loungers. From the pool you can look up into the mango, almond and coconut trees, or watch the clouds go by in slow motion over the ocean. Time sits still, and it’s yours to unwind, slow down a bit and take it all in. The Property Flow - the main house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and wrap around porch. The Guest House has 1 bedroom, 1 bath, laundry room, storage and a patio with an outdoor kitchen. Zancudo is a sleepy little village at the end of the road. It's off the beaten path. The trade off is a lush rainforest with ample wildlife viewing opportunities year round. There is nothing to stress about here. The ocean is warm year round, with fine dark volcanic sand. We picked this part of town because it's central and the waves are perfect for swimming, body boarding and beginner surfing. If you head south, the beach is better suited for surfing with big wild waves. You can hear and see the macaws, and watch the Pelicans, kites and hawks fly silently above. Surprise guests like sloths, hummingbirds, capuchins and iguanas will hopefully greet you. The sunsets are sublime. Inspired by our adventures working and living in South East Asia, we styled our home after many places we adore with some of our very favorite treasures found in Java, Bali, Thailand and Timor. The home was built by a local craftsman in the 70s and made with rare tropical hardwoods that you can no longer buy. Tech: Smart TV with Netflix. Alexa with Spotify and Amazon Music, Satellite Wifi (high speed), desk for WFH, house phone. Amenities: washer and dryer in the laundry room, board games, 4 adult bicycles, beach gear, kids toys and books, baby gear, plenty of beach/pool and home linens. Property: lush private in ground pool, gardens, lounge chairs, hammocks, outdoor shower. Property is right in the beach with a pathway. A perfect vista to watch the sun setting and unwind from today's chaotic world. We have just added a gate for extra privacy and security. We are right in the "center" of this tiny village. Walk to to bars, eateries and the grocery store. Private driveway parking for 2-4 cars. We will happily answer questions and help with travel advice and planning and are available over whasapp, phone or airbnb messaging. Jose is from the area, and is the wonderful property manager who maintains the pool, gardening and property. Jose will maintain the pool during your stay unless you request us to hold off. We have 4 adult bikes for you to use. Renting a car is a good idea if you'd like to see more of Costa Rica. We are walking distance to a few low key places to eat & drink, and a grocery store/ general store. If you'd like to come by taxi, or boat taxi, it's possible to do that without having to rent a car. We have a few trusty taxi's out of Zancudo and Golfito we can recommend! You are in the center of town; its a quiet village that livens up Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
