Nestled above the main street of Hatherleigh in the old Constitutional Hall the flat is well worth climbing the steep staircase. It boasts one good size bedroom with king size bed & day bed, ensuite shower room, small kitchen, and a large living/dining room with sofa bed. Hatherleigh is a quaint little market town central to many beautiful places 22 miles to seaside towns of Westward Ho! or Cornwall's Bude,Dartmoor is less than 10, minutes from Tarka trails,31 miles to ancient city of Exeter. The flat is up a steep staircase but is worth the climb. It has big windows which let the light flood in and you can watch the infrequent hustle and bustle of this small market town. Freshly decorated with a good size living/dining area with sofa bed, a kitchen, an ensuite shower room and a bedroom with king size bed and day bed. If you're in luck there may be parking on the road outside, if not there is a car park a short way down the road past the local coop. Hatherleigh is a small market town which hosts a summer festival and a torchlit autumn carnival. There is a thriving creative community, shops include a gallery, artists studio, pottery, garden shop, picture framing and deli/cafe. There are two beautiful pubs, paper shop, fish and chip shop and coop. Hatherleigh boasts an award winning silver band who can be heard rehearsing twice a week. There are cricket, bowling and football clubs, tennis courts for hire, a lovely play park and skate park, there are many beautiful walks around the town and up onto the Hatherleigh moor and down to the river. You can hear the bells of the 15th Century St John the Baptist church ring on practise night. The market is currently being developed but organisers have continued with the lovely weekly market. If you're lucky you may be able to park on the road outside, but there is a car park a short step away The flat is above a chip shop but the insulation is so good there are no smells! The shop only opens twice on a Tuesday and 5-8 Wednesday-Saturday.
