Gum-tree lodge, escape to the country!

Welcome to Gum-tree Lodge, situated on a quiet rural property 30 minutes west of Toowoomba. We have a few cattle, 2 dogs & 2 cats. Tenants have use of a fully self contained one bedroom unit with a queen bed. There is a sofa in the living area that can sleep 1 adult or 1-2 children. There are no laundry facilities in the unit. A great place to stopover for weary travelers as we're just 7 mins from the Gore Hwy & the town of Southbrook. Complimentary tea, coffee, bikkies and milk. A great place to relax and unwind and enjoy crisp country air. Enjoy a cuppa on the outdoor patio soaking in the sounds & beauty of the country! If the evening is balmy, you are welcome to enjoy time around a fire pit! There is parking available next to the unit. We have a gravel driveway so we suggest to drive with caution if your vehicle is not an all wheel drive. We respect your privacy and are happy to meet & greet you if we're available. We live on the property in the main house. The unit is part of our large shed/workshop. The pub in Southbrook offers meals from Friday to Sunday nights. Booking is necessary. The town of Pittsworth is 15 mins away and has 2 grocery stores a hardware store, cafes, a pub & restaurant, post office and a few specialty stores. Cambooya is a 20 min drive away and has the lovely Bull & Barley Inn offering lunch & dinner 7 days a week! Parking available next to unit. Gravel driveway on property.
