Hometown events and parades throughout the year. Boating, fishing, hunting, and skiing minutes away. Lots of hiking, ATV, and snowmobile trails nearby. One garage and 2 driveways with lots of parking. Great value. If you've been looking for a vacation in the quiet countryside of Maine, this is the place for you! Our place is on 11 acres, much of which is wooded, but we also have a huge side yard for your family fun. You can hike and snowshoe in the woods right on the property, or you can drive 10-20 minutes to countless opportunities for hiking, boating, swimming, hunting, and snowmobiling. We are truly out in the country, but only 15 minutes from downtown Farmington, the home of the University of Maine. There are several large grocery stores, many restaurants, and shops in Farmington. Don't miss the parades throughout the year (I guaranty you've never seen anything like the Chester Greenwood Parade in December), and the Franklin County Fair in September. Just search online for western Maine events for an endless supply of fun things to do. We have a first rate hospital in Farmington. Then, of course, there are the amazing views of the mountains of Western Maine right from your living room window! We are a smoke free and pet free property. You will have the entire home to yourselves, as well as the 11 acre property, one garage, and two driveways. Lots of parking for your vehicles and/or trailers. Washer and dryer in the basement. We have a lock box for the keys, so you can check-in any time after 3pm. Owners live next door. We are here to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Don't hesitate to ask us for a special need or information on the area. We are truly out in the country, six miles outside of Farmington. We're located at the top of a hill, which provides spectacular views of the western Maine mountains, including Mount Blue. The only homes nearby are this one, ours next door, and the one neighbor across the street. There's plenty of wildlife. Check-in time is 3pm. No additional charge. 6 people maximum. - Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed. Check out time is 11:00 am Please note that the Internet is the fastest available in this area, 7 Mbps. It is fine for general email, web browsing, VOIP, streaming TV shows and movies, video conferencing (I've used Teams, Zoom, and Meet), etc., as long as you don't do them all simultaneously. 4G cellular service in the area is good. The person making the booking must be 21 years old, or older.
