This little cottage has recently been refurbished, it is cosy and welcoming. From upstairs their are lovely Views of Scotland and the Solway firth to the front and extensive view of the western Lake District fells to the rear of the cottage. There is a large secure enclosed rear garden, where you can also park off road, or sit and relax. The cottage has 2 cosy double bedrooms, with plenty of hanging and storage space. A newly refurbished bathroom on the ground floor has bath and separate shower. A lovely galley kitchen with large family sized fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, Oven, hob and microwave. There is a large living/dining area, with solid oak flooring and. Large dining table, Ideal for a family meal or if you need work space. The living area has comfy sofas, a wood burning stove and a smart TV. The whole house has super fast broadband. The cottage is ideally situated for a quiet break away, on the outskirts of the Lake District national park, easy access into the stunning Lake District if you want to do some walking, adventure sports, kayaking, paddle boarding, climbing. Or visiting some of the fantastic Lake District towns to explore, Cockermouth (10 min drive), Keswick (25 min drive), Ambleside (45 min drive) and also very convenient for the solway coast, the old shipping towns of Whitehaven, Workington and Maryport right on your doorstep, and the beaches along the coast, only 10 min away. Access to the whole cottage for your sole use. Private rear garden for your sole use, and as secure parking. We are happy to meet you and show you around if your arrival time allows. Seaton is a quiet village, and the cottage is on the outskirts on the main road out of the village, walkable to the village centre where there is a shop for all essentials, a chemist , petrol station and a couple of pubs. A 5 min drive to Asda. Cockermouth is a 12 min drive, Workington a 5 min drive, Maryport 8 min. All the facilities of the beautiful Lake District National Park, only a 25 minute drive away, and the beaches of the Solway coast a 10 minute drive also. Ideally you really need a car to get around independently. Though taxis and buses would be available.
