We are back again after a complete renovation. The roof is brand new and we can offer more space. Galawatta is a cosy beach villa in a big palm garden (about 2500 m²) directly on the best beach in southern Sri Lanka. With a long coral reef all along the beach it forms a big natural pool where you can swim safely. The apartment is all ground floor and is very spacious, it offers five unique rooms with four queen size beds and two single beds. Additionally there is a kitchen, living room, big terrace and three bathrooms of which two are open air bathrooms. Have you ever showered under a starry sky? Definitely an experience! With a long coral reef all along the beach just 70m from the sand it forms our famous natural swimming pool. Sometimes you can swim with giant turtles. This pool makes it safe for all kind, especially families with children. You can swim all year round and 24 hours a day. We provide all services you need. From airport transfers to tours or day trips. From fishing from the rocks to whale and dolphin watching. From snorkeling along the reef to scuba diving from Unawatuna Dive Center. Two are located at the very corners of Galawatta directly on the beach, the other two are on the next property on the beach. As my family is living in a house on the neighbour property help or company is only a few steps away. Some famous restaurants like Wijaya are just in walking distance and the property is right at a very beautiful protected beach. TukTuk or threewheeler Transport is always available on short notice. It is cheap and very fun. Never walk without slippers when it's dark.
