First Floor Double Room with its own bathroom

Double room on a quiet residential road. One mile to Old Leigh, and Leigh on Sea train station (50 mins to London), 3 miles from Southend Airport, and Essex University. Breakfast is included. As the listing shows we are close to Southend airport. This means there can be some aircraft noise. The amount varies depending on the direction the planes take off. Help yourself to breakfast (fruit, cereals, toast, etc) and tea and coffee. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. The west-facing room is at the back of the house overlooking the garden and has a modern feel to it. In the room, there is a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV with FreeSat, fridge, coffee/tea making facilities. The person making the booking should be one of the people staying. This helps us to get to know the people who are going to be staying in our home. It is also a requirement in AirBnB's terms of service. Additional guests during the stay are not permitted Guests have access to their own room on the first floor. Bath/Shower and WC are next door to the room. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen/diner with a patio that goes out into the garden. You are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare your own meals. Parking is on the side of the road next to the house. It up to you where you spend your time when you are staying here. The kitchen diner is the centre of our home and there is a large patio at the back. If you would like some suggestions on local places to visit then feel free to ask us. Our house is on a quiet road with parking at the side of the road. We are close to shops, restaurants, pubs and public transport. Belfairs Woods and Nature Reserve, Woodland Centre, public golf course and horse riding is less than half a mile away; Leigh Broadway featuring numerous independent small shops and cafes; Old Leigh, where there are restaurants and pubs overlooking the Thames Estuary is 1.5 miles away. Hadleigh Park and Castle, where the Olympic Mountain Bike course is about a 10 minute drive away. Leigh on Sea train station is 1.2 miles away (25 minute walk). The trains go to Fenchurch Street/Tower Hill and take around 50 mins. Southend Airport is 3 miles away. We are happy to provide lifts to the airport and train station if we are around. There is a bus stop at the end of the road. Our Check in and out times are flexible however occasionally check in will need to be after 6pm and Check out before 11am.
