Waikeli was designed by architect Murray and his wife Cakau. Daughter Jane looks after the online bookings and requests. A lot of the time, one of us are overseas for work or leisure travelling, but at least one member of the family will be there to host.Overlooking the Qaraniqio River, the villa is gracious living in the tropics at it's best. Breakfast is included but please be aware access to cooking facilities and kitchen is restricted. We have free wifi available, as well as a lovely selection of books that guests are most welcome to use. Continental breakfast is included in the rate, and we are close to food shops and restaurants. We are very glad to recommend activities and restaurants/bars in our beautiful area to you, however, if you would prefer to minimise contact with us during your stay, that is fine as well. Included in the rate is continental breakfast. Our property is overlooking the river, and in a quiet and lovely section of Pacific Harbour. There are several small convenience stores, a casual bar and cafe ( Club Oceanus), and a luxurious hotel with bars and restaurants ( The Pearl South Pacific ) all within less than a very easy 10 minute walk from us. We especially love Baka Blues Bar & Restaurant which is located in the nearby Arts Village. At Baka you will find a fun atmosphere and fantastic cajun inspired food. For casual and beach side fun, we also very highly recommend visiting the Uprising Resort where lovely meals are served all day, and where you can also take part in their water activities for a price, or just enjoy beach side or pool side cocktails. Uprising also have brilliant themed nights, such as Island Night on Thursdays, which is a great opportunity to eat local cuisine while enjoying local dancing demonstrations & entertainment. The buses stop outside the Pearl South Pacific resort, which is a couple of minutes easy walk from us. Alternatively, we can also call taxi cabs ( which are very affordable ) for you. There are also private transfer companies that you can use. We also have plenty of space for parking, if you have a rental car with you, outside the house. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROOM SHARES A BATHROOM WITH 1 OTHER GUESTROOM
