Newly renovated Cajun Cottage located on the Bayou Teche in Downtown New Iberia's Historic Main St. The property is lined with old Oak and Cypress trees with a beautiful view of the bayou. Walking distance from restaurants, bars, and shopping. 8 miles from Avery Island. Light breakfast and coffee and juice provided. The cottage is a private space with kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom, and screened in patio. Very private and peaceful setting. Screened in patio with outdoor dining table. BBQ available on request. Front porch with glider overlooking bayou. Guest have access to 1.5 acres of bayou property to explore. We are available by phone anytime during the stay. I usually don't see my guest since the cottage has it's own space, but I'm always available! Located in the New Iberia downtown historic district but quiet and tucked away. Most residents don't know this street exists. Guest may pull up right next to the cottage.
