Enjoy your own spacious cabin, complete with large seperate lounge and kitchen areas. Soak up the tranquillity in this rarely available oasis. Described by friends, visitors and passers-by as "stunning" "captivation" "tranquillity" "oasis", this slice of heaven is sat on multiple footpaths and in easy reach of the best of North Wales days outs. Mountains, beaches, castles, lakes and legends are all within 30 to 40 minutes drive. Tucked away at the end of a bumpy private track, nestled in the middle of woods less than 20 metres to a small river in our garden, you'll go to sleep each night hearing the river, and the owls compete for your attention. You are very close to the main house. During the day, you can abandon your car and step out of the gate - right or left - straight onto a national footpath and proceed to ramble on foot for miles. This cabin is a getaway for those who enjoy good company, good food and the great outdoors. You have space for inside or outside dining with Kitchen, BBQ and fire pit. A real home away from home, this 54 sq metre cabin has been a hit with friends for a year now. If you want to tuck up on a rainy day, you can: Snuggling up on the corner sofa with a good book or film gets top marks and you can comfortably fit four. Guests have access to the patio at the front of the cabin, which includes a fire pit and a table and chairs that seats six. The patio is overlooked from the house. There is direct river access on the property and the orchard is behind your cabin, any apples are free! A large gas BBQ or portable gas pizza oven is available on request. A special treat can be organised for a Cookout in the large stone circle in another part of the garden - this includes your own fire pots, Dutch oven and locally wrought pot tripod. The best of times and tastiest of meals have been had inside this circle of glacial erratic boulders. We enjoy getting to know you but also have plenty of gardening work to keep us busy too :) Ideally, knock on the door or shout around the garden, when we are in or send us a message when you are out, and we'll be happy to help: Whether it's for advice on the best local Bilberry picking spot or best castles to visit, we are delighted to help. Set in the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB), you are in one of only 8 protected Landscapes in Wales. This 35km chain of heather-clad hills and limestone cliffs form a spectacular gateway to North East Wales. Low slung vehicles are not a good idea on Lady Bagots Drive. Although we have had two car mad friends take the challenge to come up in their prize cars, I would not recommend our driveway to people with low suspension sports cars. I drive a Kia Ceed and travel up the lane happily in a gentle second gear. We are approximately 1.6 miles from the A525. We don't have mobile reception at our house. Good Wifi is available to keep (Hidden by Airbnb) and other apps running just fine.
