Water Front Cottage (Two Bedrooms)

Cozy cottage alongside Five Mile reservoir. Perfect for relaxing for the whole family or just the two of you. Five minute walk to downtown Danielson. Explore the whimsical Connecticut charm by visiting the shops or grab a bite to eat. There are many restaurants, coffee shops and a brewery. 45 mins to Providence RI, 55 mins to Hartford CT 1H and 20 mins from Boston MA. My wife and I live in the cottage. The cottage sits back from the hustle and bustle of the town on a peaceful reservoir. Each room has a queen size bed, TV, Roku, and guest WiFi. For the fifth and Sixth guests, we have a portable crib for younger children or two twin size blow up mattress for older/adults. one in each room. Our home has two steps into the first floor. The first level is open concept living room, dinning room, and kitchen. There is a full bath on the first floor. There is 12 steps to the second level landing. The second floor is bedrooms and another full bathroom. Our home is open to our guests. Please enjoy the views from the deck with a cup of coffee watching the sun rise over the water or a glass of wine as the sun sets over the trees. The kitchen if fully equip with pots pans and cooking essentials. We have board games and movies to enjoy. During the warmer months we have a fire pit near the waters edge. Wood can be bought local for a few dollars. My wife and I live here with our dogs Luna and Nova a Lab and Beagle For some fun Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun Casino are both 30 mins away. For more family fun Putnam has family events on every first Friday of the month. Lapsley Orchard is a short drive from the cottage. Car for most travel. You can use a foot bridge to down town over the water to get to shops, dinner, restaurants, and Bar. Our home is open to our guests.
