Cottage near Fontainebleau Forest

Cosy studio gîte nestled in an annex of a Chateau, in a romantic and quiet estate along a riverside between Fontainebleau forest and the first Burgundy hills. Beds can be set at 2 singles or 1 large double, dining space, kitchen corner, Italian style shower, separate toilet, exceptional surroundings. Long distance path and plenty of hikes close to the estate. An ideal anchor for Fontainebleau rock climbers, or for day trips to Paris, Disneyland Paris, Fontainebleau Castle and Forest, Champagne and Burgundy region. Terrace, garden, park, riverside, private car park. I always do the maximum I can to help guests enjoy their stay, while still being very careful not to disturb their stay by my presence on the estate. Château de la Motte, a former residence of one of Napoleon III Foreign Affairs Ministers, is a exceptionaly quiet and romantic estate, nestled in the Natural Regional Park, and still a breath away from Paris, by train. My favorite train station is about 15 to 20 minutes drive in Moret Sur Loing. Apparently untouched since the 19th century it still has a train to Paris true and historic center every 30 minutes (the fare lasts 50 minutes) This gite is ideal for rock climbers, as we are at mid distance from Fontainebleau and Nemours climbing sites.
