The property is ideally situated to explore the numerous attractions that this part of East Anglia has to offer. Course fishing is available at nearby Stoke Ferry Lake. The National Trust Oxborough Hall is just 4 miles away and offers a memorable day out. Just a 15-minute drive away is Thetford Forest. There you can ‘Go-Ape’ with tree top adventures, enjoy the many woodland walks or hire a bike or Segway and explore the off-road trails. There are super beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea, or for family fun visit Hunstanton which has a funfair, amusement arcades and lots of traditional seaside activities to appeal to all ages. The Queen’s Estate at Sandringham, the lavender fields at Heacham and the many coastal villages with pubs serving local seafood are all within an easy drive. Bird watchers are spoilt for choice with Titchwell, Cley, Holkham, Blakeney, Snettisham and Welney all within easy reach. Whilst there, you can visit the University Botanic Garden which covers 40 acres and has more than 8,000 species of plants from around the world or, for the more adventurous, try punting on the river Cam.
