Upstairs, the property becomes an intriguing warren, with five bedrooms reached by a combination of three staircases. When it comes to relaxing outside, you'll find that the covered terrace and neighbouring patio offer lovers of the sun or shade the perfect location for reading a book, morning coffee, afternoon tea and, of course, dining al fresco. Close by, a deckchair awaits on the large lawn, encircled by trees and shrubs, while iris-lined steps lead to the private pool, where you can enjoy magnificent vistas of the vines, olive groves and meadows that surround this wonderful villa. Our Thoughts Tignano is a truly stunning property and looks every inch the rustic must-have villa. We think you will find the well-maintained garden – with its simply superlative views – a delightful place to unwind at the end of the day. Special touches in the garden include the three pergolas by the pool, naturally shaded by climbing plants. The local area has plenty to keep you occupied, too, with an adjacent castle as well as the hamlet from which Tignano takes its name. Notes Five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two en-suite. There are steps between all the ground-floor rooms. Two separate flights of steps lead to the first floor. The first stairs give access to bedrooms 1 and 2; the second staircase leads to bedrooms 3 and 4. A spiral staircase leads to bedroom 5. This last bedroom is very small with room only for twin beds and is recommended as suitable for children. The owner's son and his family live at the property but they do not use the pool or areas of the property that are private to guests. Three mountain bikes are available free of charge. Fire Place: open Pool The pool is fenced while additional privacy is provided by the surrounding olive groves and trees. It is located via stone steps on the slope of the lawn and the water is entered by steps and a handrail. Pool size: 13m x 6m, 1.5m deep. Open May to September.
